Monstera is not a dark-corner plant. Low light shows up as long petioles, small leaves, no windows, and soil that stays wet.
Right light: each new leaf outsizes the last, fenestration increases, internodes shorten.
Variegated plants need more light than green ones to feed white tissue, but midday sun will burn cream and gold. Filter it with a thin curtain.
